PROFESSOR
DAN KAMMEN
Dan Kammen is professor and chair of the Energy Resources Group at UC Berkeley, a professor in Goldman School of Public Policy, where he directs the Center for Environmental Policy, and a professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering. He is the founding director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL). He is an expert on energy systems and the science and policy behind climate solutions.
LECTURER
STEVE WEISSMAN
Steve Weissman created and directed the Energy Law program at Berkeley Law, where he also taught numerous energy law and policy courses. Prior to UC Berkeley, Steve served as an administrative law judge at California Public Utilities Commission. He is also a former Principal Consultant to the California State Assembly's Committee on Natural Resources, where he wrote and reviewed legislation concerning energy, air quality, and solid waste management.
BILL WANG
Bill Wang is the president of Amergy Solar who has been in the industry since 2009. He started Amergy Solar and under his management, the company has become the 16th largest national solar developers with revenue from $90k- $50 million.

WANNING LYU
Wanning joined Tesla in 2018 and supports the battery energy storage project development in the Americas for commercial, microgrid and utility-scale applications. As a Senior Sales Engineer, Wanning has supported GWhs of energy projects through conducting both technical due diligence and economics analysis. She has a B.S. in Environment and Sustainable Development from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a M.S. in Atmosphere/Energy from Stanford University.
